A mobile-centric workflow technology that works with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, GIS Files and IoT Sensor Data while saving on time & effort spent by city engineers in the field collecting, managing and performing inspections and work orders is being implemented in a commercial pilot project that was signed yesterday at PortXL Shakedown in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
We are happy to announce a commercial collaboration on a Pilot Project with the City of Rotterdam to improve and facilitate their general engineering inspection work throughout the city. The goal is to establish the extent to which our innovative MapGage platform can improve efficiencies both in the field and while compiling data & reports in the back office.
Rotterdam is at the forefront of the smart city revolution and has been pushing the boundaries of technology usage in city management. In conjunction with their GIS Team we will be testing and optimizing our platform for wider deployment in the future. The focus is to better understand what additional features are needed to truly offer it’s city engineers a streamlined solution to ensure savings of both time and effort compared to current solutions while also ensuring all the steps are tracked and logged to provide more data is collected for future AI-related use.
